Background
Aculon, Inc. is a surface modification company who develops and produces surface nano-coating technologies to modify a broad variety of surfaces, such as metal, glass, and polymers.

OBJECTIVE
The DEFCON production team produced a 5-min corporate overview video showcasing the company culture and mission at Aculon, Inc.
Our objective is to communicate the company mission of Aculon and where it’s heading . Our focus was to create a video that expressed the core values as a company.

STRATEGY
Since Aculon was founded in 2004 they’ve have worked on thousands of applications, invested hundreds of thousand of hours, developed over 100 products won numerous awards and have been granted over 35 patents. Aculon specializes in producing hydrophobic nano-coatings, oleophobic nano-coatings, waterproofing nano-coatings, hydrophilic treatments, anti-fingerprinting coatings, and adhesion promotion nano-coatings. We wanted to showcase these attributes throughout the company video.
At the beginning of the production Aculon and DEFCON strategized over phone calls about the corporate overview video. With our strategy of showcasing the company culture and where it’s heading in the future. During the Aculon production, DEFCON captured the film in San Diego, CA where Aculon is based. Over the 4-Day shoot, we captured all of the necessary content we needed to produce the company video.

Final Deliverables
The final deliverables included a long-form corporate overview video, a short-form corporate overview video, and multiple video content segments that will be used on the Aculon website.
