Connor Fields is a Las Vegas, NV based professional BMX racer who was lucky enough to find his passion at a young age which allowed him to develop skill on-top of the natural talent he already had early on in his life. In 2008, the Olympics had officially introduced BMX racing to the world on a global platform, its biggest stage in the history of the sport. Staying up till 3AM to watch the Olympic finals live in Beijing, Connor knew in that moment he wanted to become an Olympic champion.

From that moment, he made it his priority and goal to devote every second to chase the dream of winning the Olympics. First off, I’d like to thank you for taking the time and venturing far enough to read this. This Is My Why is a passion project I’ve been thinking about for a few years and finally decided to stop saying I want to make it, and just start.

It’s taken some time to create but I’m proud to say that I made it happen. This is a series that’s focused on telling real stories from real people that I thought others should hear. I set out to make this series in hopes that it would light a spark in someones mind and let them know their own dreams are possible. More so, it’s worth the risk of trying because not trying is a lot more painful in the end. I’ve been fortunate enough to be surrounded by great mentors and people in my life that have helped me pursue my dreams, so hopefully this series helps you pursue your dreams in some way, shape or form.

Through the process of creating this film series I learned new skills, life lessons, challenged myself and made life-long friends all while being able to chase my own dream in the process. Cheesy sounding or not, I hope it’s something everyone can experience in their own way at some point in their life.
